Why should I purchase and wear fabric face masks?

The Center for Disease Control recommends wearing cloth face masks while in public (in addition to social distancing) to slow the spread of COVID-19 by preventing transmission of the virus.

Cloth masks are a more sustainable option compared to disposable masks, as they are washable and reusable and reduce waste.

Additionally, purchasing fabric masks for personal use allows for the reservation of medical-grade masks for frontline healthcare workers.

What are the benefits of owning multiple fabric face masks?

Fabric face masks should be washed after each use. Having multiple masks allows you to have some ready to wear while others are washing. Also, we find wearing face masks to be much more exciting when we have many styles, colors, and patterns to choose from!

How can I be sure the face masks will fit me?

Our children’s masks come in two sizes made to fit children ages 3-6 (Child Small) and ages 7-11 (Child Large). Adult masks come in Small and Large. Adult Small tends to fit teens and adult women best. Adult Large tends to fit adult men best.

Do your masks allow for filters?

All of our masks are sewn with a filter pocket on the inside of the mask, allowing the filter to be placed between the mask’s layers of cotton fabric. Please note, we do not provide filters with your mask purchase.

Where do you ship?

Face Mask of the Month currently ships within the United States only. Our policy may shift as COVID-19 related shipping situations improve over time.

Can I purchase masks without a subscription?

Yes! If you would prefer to try one of our handcrafted masks before joining our subscription service, this is an option. Simply shop our non-subscription adult and children’s masks.

If I choose a mask subscription, when will I be billed for my subscription?

Each month, you will be charged for your subscription on the anniversary of your initial purchase date.

How can I help Face Mask of the Month donate more masks?

With each subscription or individual mask you purchase, Face Mask of the Month will donate a mask to healthcare agency in need of fabric masks. If you would like to help us donate even more masks, we would be happy to make an arrangement with you! If you would like to suggest an agency needing masks in your community, please contact us with all relevant information. Our email address is facemaskofthemonth@gmail.com

What if there is an issue with my order?

If you have not received your order when expected, please contact us at facemaskofthemonth@gmail.com so we can assist you.

If you have received a package with missing, incorrect, or damaged items or if you have any other product concerns, please email us within 60 days of receiving your order. We would be happy to assist you and send a replacement, if necessary. 

What is your subscription cancellation policy? 

The great news is that you may pause your Face Mask of the Month subscription any time after your first order without canceling it. Your subscription may then be resumed at a later date. If you prefer, you also may cancel your subscription at any time after you complete your first order.

What is your refund policy?

Because of the sanitary nature of face masks, we cannot accept returned items/orders. All items purchased through Face Mask of the Month are non-refundable.
